How to Make Generated Videos With a Storyboard in the AI Studio

Quick Reference Keywords: AI video · Storyboard · Characters · Keyframes · Talking characters · Dialogue · Consistent characters · End card

Overview

The AI Studio can make a whole video from AI-generated shots: characters, scenes and spoken lines. It plans a storyboard first and asks for your approval at each step, so you see the look before the more expensive video clips are made.

Steps

  1. Open a project in AI Marketing > AI Studio and describe the video, for example: "A 20-second Reel where a homeowner finds a green pool and our technician fixes it. End with our same-day offer."
  2. The studio replies with a storyboard card: the shots, how long each is, what is said, and the usage for the first step (reference images of the characters and places). Select Approve, or Decline and say what to change.
  3. Review the reference images on the next card. If they look right, approve them to make one keyframe (opening frame) per shot.
  4. Review the keyframes. The card shows the usage for the video clips. Approve to generate them.
  5. The studio checks every clip, retries ones that come out wrong, and assembles the video with music, captions and your end card. The final video is saved to your Media Library.

Tips

  • Upload your logo and real photos (your van, your storefront) to the Media Library first; the studio uses them as references so the video looks like your business.
  • Results vary between attempts, and each attempt uses credits. Approving references and keyframes first is the cheapest way to get the look right.
  • Generated people are fictional. To feature a real staff member, use real footage instead (see Edit Your Own Footage).
