How to Make an Animated Promo in the AI Studio

Quick Reference Keywords: Animated promo · Motion graphics · Offer announcement · Kinetic text · Review video · Logo animation · End card · Scene plan

Overview

Animated promos are built from bold text, shapes, your logo and your brand colors, animated frame by frame. They need no filming and no paid AI video, so they are quick and inexpensive: great for offer announcements, seasonal reminders, "why choose us" videos and customer review highlights.

Steps

  1. Go to AI Marketing > AI Studio and select New project.
  2. Name the project, choose the Format (9:16 for Reels, Stories and TikTok; 1:1 or 4:5 for feeds), and describe the video under What are you making?. Include the offer, the length, and the action you want viewers to take, for example: "15-second spring opening promo, 20% off first service, book online."
  3. The studio reads your brand kit (logo, colors, services, offers) and replies with a plan. Ask for changes in plain language: "punchier opening", "use our blue", "mention we're family owned".
  4. Want a quick look before production? Ask "show me a few frames". The studio renders still frames and shows them in the chat. The Live preview in the middle also plays the current draft.
  5. When you agree on the plan, the studio starts the production run. An animated promo without paid AI generation starts right away; if you asked for AI music or a voiceover, you approve the usage first. Longer pieces (four or more scenes, or 30 seconds and up) get a scene plan first: each scene's timing, on-screen text, motion and sound, plus the colors and fonts every scene shares. Select Approve to start, or Decline with a note to change it.
  6. The studio builds a scene plan one scene at a time and checks each one before the next. The Plan tab on the right shows the scenes and which are done. To change one scene later, just say so ("make scene 3 shorter"); only that scene is rebuilt.
  7. Watch the preview when it appears. The studio has already reviewed it once and fixed what it found. Ask for edits in the chat and the studio makes a new version.
  8. The final video is saved to your Media Library automatically.

Tips

  • Give real details: your actual offer, service area and proof points ("4.9 stars from 300 reviews") make a far better video than generic claims.
  • Upload a logo to your business settings first so the end card uses it.
  • Ask for variations ("make a 6-second version for Stories") once you like the first one.
