Connect Google Ads

Overview

Connecting Google Ads lets brayv.ai do three things for you:

  • Show your real Google results on the Performance page: spend and clicks from Google next to the leads, appointments and won opportunities in brayv.ai.
  • Tell Google which clicks became customers. Brayv reports each lead, converted lead and won opportunity back to Google, so Google learns to find more people like them.
  • Let Siren build and run Google Search campaigns for you (see Build a Google Ad with Siren).

You connect once. brayv.ai sets everything else up in your Google Ads account automatically.

Before you start

  • You need a Google Ads account. If you don't have one yet, follow Create a Google Ads Account the Safe Way first.
  • Connect with the Google login that owns the account (or has Admin or Standard access). A read-only login can show results but can't set up tracking or run campaigns.
  • Ideally the business owner connects, not an employee: if the person who connected loses access to the Google Ads account, the connection stops working.

Connect

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Find the Google Ads card and click Connect.
  3. Sign in with Google and allow brayv.ai to manage your Google Ads account and upload conversions.
  4. Back in brayv.ai, choose which Google Ads account to use. If you manage several (for example through a manager account), pick the one this business advertises from.

That's it. Within a minute or two the card shows Connected with a checklist.

What brayv.ai sets up for you

Billing checkedCampaigns can't run until billing is set up in Google Ads; the card tells you if it isn't.

Brayv re-checks the setup every day and fixes what it can by itself.

Reading the card

  • Connected: everything is working.
  • Needs attention items explain exactly what to do, for example "Billing isn't set up" or "The connected login can only view this account".
  • Reconnect: Google stopped accepting Brayv's access (the person who connected removed it, lost access, or changed their password in a way that signs out apps). Click Reconnect and sign in again.
  • Re-check runs the setup again right away, for example after you fix billing.

Changing or disconnecting

  • To switch to a different Google Ads account, click Change account on the card. Results from the old account stop updating; nothing is deleted.
  • Disconnect stops results and conversion reporting. Campaigns Brayv built keep running in Google Ads until you pause them there.

FAQ

Will this change my existing campaigns? No. Brayv's conversions are secondary, so your existing campaigns keep bidding exactly as before. Brayv only changes campaigns it built.

My agency manages our Google Ads. Can I still connect? Yes. If your agency tracks conversions from their own manager account, the card says so; ask them to add Brayv's three conversions there, or connect with a login that has access to the manager account.

Why don't I see Google on the Performance page yet? Spend syncs overnight. Results appear the morning after you connect.
